Behavioral-health billing

The billing partner who works themselves out of a job.

Billing your team can own.

We don't take over your billing. We come in alongside your team, build the processes and documentation your practice needs, train your people to run them, and leave when you don't need us anymore. Compliance-led. Patient-centric. Built for behavioral health.

What we build

Capability-building deliverables, not retainers.

Every engagement ends with something your team owns: a denial playbook, a documentation SOP, a trained biller, a cleaned-up payer-contract file. We don't sell hours. We ship the thing that lets you run billing without us.

01 - Process build

Workflows, SOPs and playbooks

We audit your current billing process end-to-end, then document and redesign it alongside your biller. You get a written operating manual your team actually uses.

  • denial triage playbook
  • authorization and concurrent-review workflow
  • clean-claim SOP + chart-audit checklist
  • EHR configuration guide
02 - Training

Coder and biller training

We train your people - in your EHR, on your payer mix, with your actual charts. Live sessions, written curricula, and a train-the-trainer handoff so you can onboard the next hire yourselves.

  • new-hire onboarding curriculum
  • 90837 / 90834 / H0004 coding sessions
  • parity-compliant documentation training
  • quarterly refresher + chart audits
03 - Compliance

Compliance documentation

OIG-defensible policy, payer-defensible documentation, parity-compliant workflows. Built into the process so your clinicians don't feel it and your auditors can't fault it.

  • program-integrity review prep
  • Medicaid FFS / capitated reconciliation
  • HCPF and BHA submission workflows
  • written policy and annual look-back
How we work

Three moves. Then we leave.

We're not an outsourcer, not a software vendor, not a slide-deck firm. Senior practitioners who show up, build the muscle inside your organization, and walk out when your team can run without us.

We come in alongside your team.

Two to four weeks observing and documenting how your billing actually works today. Not how the org chart says it works - how the claim from Monday's 90837 session really moved through your clearinghouse.

Deliverable - current-state map

We build the processes and train your people.

We redesign the workflows, write the SOPs, build the training, and run the sessions. Your biller co-owns the documents. Your clinicians co-design the forms. Nothing gets shipped that your team can't run.

Deliverable - playbooks + trained team

We hand the keys over.

Train-the-trainer handoff. A written operating manual. A quarterly look-back cadence your team runs themselves. Our last engagement day is documented in the SOP as "final review - ClearBridge out."

About the founders

Working billers, coders, and operators - not strategists.

ClearBridge Revenue Integrity Partners was co-founded by Tracy Hansen, Paul Otto, and Sarah Otto. Sarah spent 8+ years inside behavioral-health revenue cycle, most recently as Director of RCM at one of Colorado's largest community mental-health providers, where she surfaced $1.6M in unreported revenue, recovered $4M in denied and unbilled claims in her first month as AR lead, and cut total AR by 58%.

She holds the coding, billing, and auditing credentials that matter to payers and auditors, an MBA, and a practitioner's instinct for the small operational move that unlocks a big recovery. US Army veteran. Based in Denver.
